This is 100% bear fat sourced in Vermont, USA. I have rendered it carefully to remove impurities and retain it's beneficial properties. The result is a pure fat with minimal smell or taste.

Bear Fat is food for bears and bear grease can be used on our skin as is. While initially oily, it absorbs quickly to deeply nourish our skin. If desired, it can be infused with herbs to then make into salves - I do make an entire collection of herbal salves so check out my other listings for ready made salves as well as hair and beard oil!

I render bear fat to honor and respect bears. I source the bear fat from local hunters or game processors who would otherwise throw the fat away.
